Night of the Hunter (1955)
| Vastly overrated, this film is not nearly as good as many critics want it to be. Robert Mitchum overacts in this hokey story about a criminal who pursues two children to get their fortune. Granted, Mitchum's performance in this piece garnished him with praise and attention but I can't see why. Personally, I loath this film. Other folks love it.
